Debra Bowen is racking up endorsement after endorsement in her campaign for Secretary of State. Debra’s most recent elected official endorsement (#57) came from Assemblymember Mark Leno (D-San Francisco).
Other recent endorsements include Congressman Mike Honda, Congresswoman Hilda Solis, LA County Sheriff Lee Baca, and former Assembly Speaker Herb Wesson.

Congrats on your endorsement list so far!! This is one state office that should only be held by the most qualified candidate. I believe you have the depth of knowledge that will lead voters to once again have confidence in the electoral process. Electoral integrity should be a non-partisan issue. Faith in the voting process is the crux of our democracy.

I was disappointed in not finding information on your personal and career background on your website. For example, it would be helpful to know what schools you attended, where you grew up, what positions you have held and some information on what your ideologies are. I realize other candidates do not provide this info either but if you are truly a pioneer and inovative candidate you will be the first to divulge the attributes that people need to know to make an intelligent decision.
All of the comments on your sie are positive. Surely there must be some who disagree. It would be good to publish some disagreements.

I have been impressed with Debra Bowen at the Democratic convention last Spring and at an educational day long meeting held at UCI about 2 months ago.
Her experience in politics and her willingness to work and listen to others is commendable and will help her in her run for the Office and in her work in the Office.
I think voters having confidence in the accurate counting of votes is essential to the Democratic process. If we can increase this confidence, we can get more eligible voters to register and vote. Without this confidence only those with a lot of money will be represented.
I would be glad to work with her campaign within Orange County, particularly in Irvine, Tustin and Lake Forest. My phone is 949-552-4495.
I could bring to the campaign gas money for me, and about 2 hours/month through June 2005 and 2 hours per week after that.
